I squatted yesterday. Not the best squatting I have ever done, and a let down after really nailing it the week before. I did sets at 95kgs, and the first 2 where ok, but the last was terrible. While I am disappointed, I did have gastro for 3 days before so I should be pleased that I even made it to the gym. As Nic said it is only 5kgs below my PB, and it is an increase on last week. It was an average result, and better to have an average squat in training than on comp day - Faith!
There always is a sliver lining and my rack deadlifts where great. My first sets came up so quickly that Nic asked me to have a crack at 1 rep on 140kgs; I did 3 reps.
