I went to yoga yesterday afternoon and it was really tough. It was incredibly beneficial both physically and emotionally. This morning at squat training my hips were flexible and I squatted really well; 8 reps @ 60kgs/65kgs/70kgs.
The yoga has always been a great level set for me emotionally and I came out of class energised and confirming some decisions I have made recently about the next 12 months. There is a position called "camel" about 10 mins from the end of class, which is a full back bend from the knees and I find it very difficult to do when I am stressed or worried. Yesterday it was quite a challenge not to give up as so much emotion flowed out as I was reaching back......I love bikram yoga!
