Please leave me a comment.

Today I am asking a favour of all you bloggers and other readers about why you blog and why you read other's blog?

I don't want to make any assumptions on what people are thinking, and I figure if my purpose is to help others achieve wellbeing I should know what everyone is searching for.

Feel free to e-mail me if you prefer.

Thank you all

Lisa

I'll go first Lisa.

I blog for many different reasons. 1. To empty out the contents of my head. 2. To keep my family and friends up to date with what I am doing. 3. To share my experiences with the world wide web in hope that it may help someone.

I read others blogs because I learn from their life experiences.

I hope this helps.

Hi ... I just found you today. :)

I blog to become accountable and to get the "crap" out ... I read for inspiration and solidarity.

I blog and read blogs as an escape to another world (one that my everyday friends have no intetest in). Its my interlude with the health and fitness world, "talking" to like-minded people. I love it.

Hi Lisa,
I have two main reasons for blogging:
1 - it helps keep me focused, and I like looking back on what I've done as I learn all sorts of interesting stuff about myself.
2 - as a place to record and share interesting information.
Lately my family have been reading so it's also a place for them to see what I've been up to.

I like to read the blogs of others for motivation, information and friendship

I blog as a motivation for myself and anyone who may be reading that needs a little inspiration to maybe try something new.

I read others' blogs for information, common interests, and humor.

I blog because it is nice to empty my mind and because it is nice being able to come back and see how far i've come. Blogging is a forum where i feel i'm not judged as we all so often our in our daily lives.

I read your blog because i think you are inspiring and live what you preach.

Other blogs i read are health and fitness related because they keep me motivated, personal blogs because it's nice reading about people's lives who perhaps i wouldn't encounter on a daily basis. I love the mix of personal with health and fitness because it is keeping it real and showing that these people are human and face challenges daily like everyone else and sometime they fail but they never stop trying.

Hi Lisa,

I blog to keep myself motivated and to share my life experience in the hope that it may help someone else in their journey.

I started in the hope of meeting other fitness minded people as I don't have any furends that share this interest.

I read other blogs so that I can learn and grow.

I have to say yours is really great, it's informative and inspiring!

Hi Lisa

Why I blog:
1. I love to write, and get things off my chest - therapeutic.
2. To keep a record of my goals, thoughts, life and look back on them.
3. As a confidence statement to myself - "I am strong enough to share who I truly am"

Why I read other blogs:
1. To be inspired by others, because there are so many inspiring and interesting people.
2. To recognise that there are others out there who have similar struggles, yet overcome, therefore, so can I.

Ciao...Kerry :)

I blog to share information and try to motivate others in their fitness journey. I like to read others to learn from them and sometimes see that they are looking for something I might be able to help them with.

Lisa, I read some blogs for the very same reasons the others have listed. I find solace in reading other journeys, dispelling the loneliness of my journey, finding alternate ways to deal with problems, getting practical advice, realisation of what others endure or overcome and basically to pull my head out of my butt.
